Great device, good price, it's worth upgrading from the ds lite to the 3ds. It has worse speakers than the New 3DS XL and also has a habit of getting marks on the top screen from the buttons on the bottom not scratches, just whatever grime was on the surface of the buttons.
But it's smaller and lighter than the New 3DS XL while keeping the same screen size and battery life, I also found the dpad and shoulder buttons to be far more comfortable to hold. Also the wobbly hinge of past XL models is finally gone! The matte plastic is also awesome, no more scratches on the outer shell.
