This place is heaven on earth. We celebrated our honeymoon for 7 nights at Ladera and it was an experience like none other. We were upgraded to the Heritage Suite complimentary which was so cool! My wife and I are very well traveled both domestically and internationally and have stayed at many high end 5 star resorts and hotels all over the world and I can honestly say that this place ranks at the top in terms of it's sheer beauty and overall atmosphere.

The scenery is like none other as you are set at the top of a mountain directly in between the two pitons overlooking the water below. Truly a view that cannot be described with words. The service from each and every staff member was 5 star as well. They truly go above and beyond to make sure your staff is just perfect. The restaurant on site is pretty good although my wife and I preferred the Boucan restaurant across the street at Hotel Chocolat. We just enjoyed the food a bit more there. Price wise was about the same although the menu options are totally unique at the boucan.

The breakfast at the Ladera is wonderful. Super tasty and amazing view as well. I would rank the entire stay as a 10 out of The only thing I would say is that we did experience some bugs in the room here and there which of course is to be expected in the open air concept that Ladera offers. It wasn't as if the resort was doing a bad job keeping them out. You are just part of nature here and The netted beds do a fair job of keeping them away overall. Waking up to the breeze and hearing the occassional sound of falling rain while you sleep is incredible and I would highly recommend this place to all people.

True Paradise. Views of a Lifetime. We stayed in Paradise Ridge Suite 6, which has the most impressive view in the entire resort Highly recommend requesting this room The views on the website don't even come close to doing the place justice. It is absolute perfection. If you are looking for extremely intimate, secluded accommodations then Ladera is the choice for you. Don't expect tons of socializing, it is a very small resort and most couples like to stay to themselves, but I promise you won't even want to leave your room when you see the views. We spent most of our time lounging in our pool drinking Pitons and relaxing.

I highly recommend taking the trail just outside of the Paradise Ridge Suites, probably a 20 minute hike to the top, but you get amazing views of the Pitons and surrounding landscape. It is an expensive resort, but well worth the price for the views and attentiveness of the staff. We had Rohan as our butler and he made sure we had everything we could ever need.
