If you return it I would love it will it appear on the outlet or? Missed this deal and was gutted. Yeah the battery life is proving to be not that great. Not great, but enough for my needs. At least the charger is very small and compact for a laptop charger so not much of a hassle to carry around.

I had 3 bluetooth devices connected yesterday headphones, mouse and PS4 controller but now nothing will connect. The bluetooth button is blue i. I don't want it sliding around in there! Yeah, I've received mine. Overall it is a decent machine. I am very concerned about battery life due to the screen, and am basically just testing that as I type I think I'll possibly end up returning due to the battery life, unfortunately.

It isn't atrocious so far, but the key thing with an ultraportable is the ability for it to be, well, portable. Without great battery life, it just can't do that. Will test primarily on Sunday and go from there. It is a stunning device, the display is great, the keyboard feels excellent and running quietly. Battery looks like it'll be the killer end, though. Anyone else got their laptop yet? Mine arrived today. Absolutely gorgeous machine and performing well so far. Build quality is excellent, the hinge feels a little stiff at certain points throughout the full rotation but I would prefer that rather than it feeling loose and floppy.

You can open the lid with one hand which is a nice novelty for me! It feels a little heavier than I was expecting, but it is mostly metal so that's to be expected and it is easy enough to carry around. The 4K screen is definitely overkill and it remains to be seen how detrimental it will be to battery life, but it does look awesome.

The maglev keyboard feels different but I really like it and the keys are nicely sized and spaced. The trackpad is large, accurate and feels good - probably the best I've ever used I've never owned a Macbook. The speakers are OK, not great, but I wasn't expecting them to be. That's my early review in a nutshell! Good price this for a 10th gen laptop. One of very few with a screen. Just Ordered it after watching this laptop since announcement. Doesn't convince me too much despite the amazing specs the only let down is the screen which is 60hz and a complete waste to have a for that.

There is mo option to add a hz screen else it would have been literally the best priced laptop with those specs. Fair play. I almost bought one then decided instead to get a reconditioned Ti desktop card. Defo the better choice! This isn't a bad price but the 4K screen is well worth the extra IMO. Had mine for over 3 years, used for hours every day and feels as good as new other than a replacement battery.

Well yes the prices might be a bit punchier than some competitors, but it's not a patch on the prices Apple are happy to ask.

Its all relative innit?! As much as I love the xps series the prices Dell are asking are unreasoable compared to what the competition are offering for a lot less.

I would save up more and buy a better quality Dell. I should have clarified, the VGQ is 25". The current p Hz IPS monitors are all 27". What revision is your SHGF? It's quite possible the later revisions are much improved. I bought my SHGF nearly a year ago when they first released. I'm enjoying mine, but I'm not coming from anything to compare it too, or at least not recently. I used to own a 24" Benq Monitor, tn panel p 60hz. The experience of watching films and browsing is not too different to that really, in games though the hz is awesome and definitely noticeable.

My mate has a curved MSI screen with a similar spec, ips panel though, and I personally can't stand the curve.

I'm using it for gaming, mostly fps's, on the normal preset so presumably the slowest response time according the above poster. I don't have any complaints really. This may be good deal for It's Waste of money. The resolution is too low for a 27" display. IPS is another issue that does not suit some people. Res isn't everything and p more than enough coming from someone who has and 32 inch. Did u go for the hz version? Would you guys say go for the hz version or Just looks like theres better discount.

Haha yeah on PC I'm currently playing fallout 2 and R6 siege more fallout and older games and running a and I7. Pulled the trigger on this anyways likely still for older games, indie games and non gaming when I'm away with work G17 that is with the I was going to do the same but with me only playing classic wow now my 8ish year old Alienware m14x dose the job fine lol. Plus the 2 free games from intel, total war three kingdoms, laptop bag and baseball cap.

Edit: Gonna take a punt at the G17 with hz screen. Came here as I was about to buy it and was just looking around.
