The hotel had a restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub , sauna, and steam bath, and we took advantage of all of it. Room service. Room service did manage to find a couple of decent feather pillows for my wife to sleep on, and were generally very good. The hotel is See all room amenities 9. See all hotel amenities. About the hotel

Great place to stay. So our family were travelling around Ireland for a week and we thought we would join them for a couple of nights. We flew into Dublin late Thursday evening, after a delay due to weather. They offered us hot fresh coffee, which we sadly declined as we were so tired and just wanted to go to sleep. The bed was comfortable, the room was functional. It was clean and tidy. Room could have used a little touch up and a fresh lick of paint, but it was very comfortable and warm - which is what you want when you book a hotel. We slept undisturbed for 8 hours, and enjoyed a full Irish breakfast when we woke.

The food was freshly cooked and you could tell that the hotel appealed to both business and leisure travellers. We stayed two nights and this hotel and we would of course return the next time we are in Ireland. Really relax and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Definitely going back soon. Great staff and excellent food. Room comfortable.

I would like to suggest that the leisure centre would supply larger towels as the towels were ridiculously small. Perhaps there was a shortage of towels on the day I was there as pool very busy with mid term break. Highly recommend for relaxing break. However there are a number of small problems with the hotel. Two out of the three showers in the Ladies changing room did not work, and I remember the same problem from previous stays in Ballykisteen.

The toilet in our hotel room also did not flush, so i hope this problem was quickly sorted for the next guests. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bedroom was so spacious, with every facility and overlooked the golf course. We had dinner in the bar both nights and the quality of the food and the service was excellent. A good base for touring around Limerick and South Tipperary. We will return again. Really enjoyed the break and such amazing value. Very popular with weddings. Only downfall was the meal, food wasnt great but it may have been an off night.

Would stay again if in the area. Food was very good with a decent menu choice.

Staff were very helpful and attentive. Leisure facilities very good -particularly the golf course. Williams on Mar 21 The hotel was satisfactory but the meal was very disappointing. I would not give it a four star rating.

I would give it a 3 star rating. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a beautiful meal. Me and my Partner booked a short break for the Ballykisteen hotel for our anniversary.

We had gotten a great deal from the Lidlbreaks. We were not familiar with Tipperary but we printed off the directions from Dublin to the Hotel provided on the hotel website. They were exact and we arrived in exactly 2 hours to the hotel. On arrival the hotel receptionist was extremely welcoming and assisted our needs to providing a wine bucket, ice and glasses to be delivered to our room.

When we arrived to our room, it was a nice size, clean and had a view looking out onto the golf course. On our second night we enjoyed our two course meal. Not much options on the set menu but I enjoyed a sirloin steak, plenty of mash potatoes and vegetables. For dessert I had a chocolate brownie with Ice cream and we also had coffee to finish. On our last day we arranged a late check out but as we were leaving we expressed how much we enjoyed our stay and they did not charge us for the late check out. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and we will most definitely be returning.

The food is always very good quality and the menu has an adequate selection. The most impressive part of the experience at this hotel is how helpful all the staff are and the bar area is a really comfortable place to relax and have lunch. Bad points: Poor lighting in bathroom, trouble closing a window fully, no lights on waking in the morning due to a fuse having blown. This was resolved partially by the staff quickly bringing me a standard lamp to light the room. The wedding room was laid out to a very high standard and was very tastefully decorated.

The big bay window in the wedding room is a real head turner and was covered in lights it looked stunning. The table setting and chair covers also were beautiful and in my opinion it is one of the nicest venues ive ever been in. Its an absolutely gorgeous venue for any wedding. The wedding fair itself was thouroughly enjoyalble with a large range of different stands from bridal, to invitations, bands, flowers etc. The staff there were very helpful with showing us around the hotel and telling us about the services they provided.

I would most definitly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to have my wedding here. It is our absolute dream location and I am positive we will have the most amazing day ever. We had our wedding here last month. From start the finish the day was amazing, Kirsty Fitzgerald did an amazing job at coordinating the whole thing.

It was a big wedding and I'm sure was major work for the hotel however nothing phased them. The room and hotel in the whole looked magical all fairy lights and candles and the backdrop behind the top table was stunning.
