I weigh about lbs and I'm already caving in the middle of it. I'm not sure if u are limited to use the shared bathroom in the floor levels you are in, but I stayed at the top floor which has only 1 shared bathroom and 1 male washroom. I do suggest to add 1 washroom exclusively for women on top of what the hotel currently has. In general, women tend to use the washroom more often than men.
I stayed for two nights at this hotel. One big plus of the hotel is the location. It is very central and one can easily reach almost all attractions in downtown by walk.

Except that, the facilities of the hotel itself are poor. Although the furnitures are pretty old and have unpleasant smell, the room was quite clean. The bed was small but just fine. Since the furnitures and the decorations of the hotel are quite outdated, there is heavy smell throughout the hotel. The rooms are not soundproof. Although it is a budget hotel, shared bathroom is not the best option to have. Good price for downtown Vancouver, room was basic but ok. Good bed, quiet and clean.

The heating didn't work. They were aware of it and they told us that they might give us a compensation for it in a discount on the roomprice. Didn't recieve a discount. The room was very warm with no option to turn down the heat.

Breakfast was disappointing just bread, bagel and cereal. Very small room. Breakfast should include a juice, like orange. The wifi was pretty difficult to stay connected to, which was problematic for an international traveler. They were painting the outside, but I honestly thought the inside could have used a little attention as well - perhaps that's in the future.
Perfect location. Excellent staff. Bistro pub attached to hotel is excellent. Rooms are basic and clean; ideal for an active visit to Vancouver. Perfect location for seeing a show at the Orpheum, and just general downtown Vancouver wanderings. Easy walking distance to everything I needed. Comfy bed, charming room. Bathroom could have used another close look by staff before giving it the "good to go" stamp but certainly clean enough that it wouldn't deter me from coming back.
