Since we only live 2 hours away it has been one of our defaults for a quick weekend away. Sadly, recent changes have changed our minds about staying here as frequently as we used to. Problems: - Front desk staff are less friendly and much slower - airmiles vouchers cost more and include less, more restrictive then in the past - room rates have gone up considerably - surcharge for renovated rooms even though most of the furniture is the same.

Unfortunately, due to our forested location, we can occasionally become hosts to some uninvited guests - such as the one who interrupted your stay with us on Christmas Eve.
I do sincerely apologize that this caused discomfort and distress for you as that is never our intention for our guests, particularly during the holiday season. I do see that there were no charges processed for your stay with us, simply the authorization that is taken for each guest upon arrival to our resort. This authorization was released immediately upon your departure however may take your banking institution business days to reflect the release.
I understand that several members of our leadership team have been in contact with you personally and I hope they were able to provide a satisfactory resolution to your concerns.
