I particularly like the foot washing stations when you come off the beach and the availability of public restrooms. I like going to the Ocean Hotel's balcony and looking out over the boardwalk and ocean. I appreciated the fact that there was a lot within walking distance restaurants, shops, etc. Atlantic City is best known for the Boardwalk, Casinos, hosting the Miss America pageant and the inspiration for the game, Monopoly.
On the boardwalk you can walk, bike, take a ricochet to a casino, Pier at Caesars Casino, that features upscale restaurants and shopping or enjoy amusement rides, casual food or just take in the picturesque views and fresh air. Most of the year is the best time to host an event is Sunday Thursday as they are the slowest days of the week and will get the best pricing especially November — March.
It was nice walk around the mall and easy access to the beautiful convention center. Atlantic city is what it is. Take in the shows, the pier, the entertainment and gamble. There are some great places to eat as well. Our group had an absolute ball shopping and gambling. The city seemed very inviting and clean. Bus movements in the city are too restrictive but other than that, we have no complaints. I loved the Absecon Lighthouse!
The informational session that was given was great and climbing the steps was just enough to get me ready for my trip to Pickles Deli for lunch. Best place to eat on the boardwalk! It was very nice. There is so much more to do besides gambling. For example, Tanger Outlet shopping across from Caesars Casino.
